It is an Non Government Organization (NGO) registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 under Government of Bihar.

It is duly accredited by DOEACC Society, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Department of Information Technology, Govt. of India for Computer Courses i.e. ‘A’ Level, ‘O’ Level and ‘CCC’. It has been awarded ‘A’ Grade Institution by DOEACC. Apart from above, Institute has its own IT related courses including Tally.
The Society has vast experience in Corporate Training. Its clients are Department of Post, Govt. of India, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (B.S.N.L.), State Bank of India, Bank of India, etc. More than 400 participants from Bihar State Electricity Board, Patna have been provided Computer Training (DOEACC ‘CCC’ course) so far yet. These participants are mainly, Finance Controllers, Directors including Director (IT), Chief Engineer, Superintending Engineers, Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers, etc. Some Govt. of Bihar employees have also been imparted such training.
D.T.P. work is another feather in its cap. Different types of D.T.P. works from different departments of Govt. of India as well as Govt. of Bihar are almost always being done here.
It has been awarded several Annual Maintenance Works (AMC) of Computer and related peripherals including VSAT spread all over Bihar and Jharkhand. Its major client is Department of Post, Govt. of India. Department of Post, Govt. of India has awarded AMC work for Computer and related peripherals in the entire region of Bihar.
It has its own Software Development Team which is capable of catering the Web Enabled Tasks. Several colleges like B. D. Evening College, Patna in different universities in Bihar are our academic clients for Web Page designing.
The Society has its own exclusive wing for Health / Health Education related activities such as mal-nutrition and women awareness during pregnancy. It has been engaged in such activities in the districts Saran, Patna, Buxar, Munger, Jamuai, Jahanabad, etc. of Bihar on the basis of Society’s own resources. Several AIDS control campaigns have also been organized by the Society.
The Society has successfully completed several programmes exclusively for basic education to children from the down trodden sections i.e. children who do not have any access to the formal education system.
In addition to this, the Society has several programmes related to sports promotion, environmental equilibrium, rural development, etc. The society is also engaged in agriculture related activities. It also promotes Self Help Group in the related areas. The Society looks after those children who severely need exclusive care. Such children very often contact the Society and the Society always helps those children within its limit as it has limited resources.
The Society conducts several campaigns for the children living in slum area, on footpath , etc. and working in garage, hotels, railway platforms, bus stands, etc. in the area of primary/basic education.
In previous year, in the campus of Patna Pustak Mela at Gandhi Maidan, the Society has done excellent diversified works through its stall and team of dedicated volunteers. The Society not only educated the target group in the Mela but also it provided free education/training programme in Info Campus to those who opted in this regard.The number of such candidates was 1865. The Society also utilized that platform for other socio-economic activities. More than 50 thousand aspirants visited the stall of the Society.
The Society organized a National Seminar titled “IT Education in Bihar : Problems & Prospects” in a very small period of time since its inception. In the Seminar, Dr. Saurabh Gupta, State Informatics Officer & Technical Director, NIC, Bihar was honoured with Info Man of Bihar award.
The Society has a dedicated, hard working and result oriented team for Research & Survey related works.
This could have become possible in very small span of time as the Institute has strong Infrastructure (Hardware and Software) and efficient manpower. Its Computer Centre is equipped with 24 Celeron and Pentium range of computers covering large hall. Construction of another Computer Centre is likely to be completed very soon which has been designed exclusively for Corporate Training which will also be utilized as IT Lecture Hall for management and computer programmes. It has a team of highly qualified (Ph. D., M.Tech., M.C.A, B.C.A.), experienced (more than 20 years), dedicated, sincere and efficient Computer Professionals.
The society is engaged in literacy programme in different primary schools in various districts of the state of Bihar. We emphasize to provide literacy programme in general and computer awareness in particular to those school going children. We use various tools & techniques to generate interest in computers.
Info Campus is also providing the academic support for B. B. M. and B. Sc. (IT) courses in B. D. Evening College, Patna under Magadh University, Bodh Gaya.
The Society is also an authorized Study Centre for M. Phil., MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, etc. professional courses run by the PRIST University, Thanjavur, Tamilnadu.
Institute is centrally located (Exhibition Road) at Patna; hence it is convenient even girls participants to be present in Info Campus upto late hours for their classes. It may be remain functional round the clock, if required.
